ART211 Blog #13

Just a few days, Tsarnaev the boston bomber, was convicted for the unbelievable acts him and his brother did at the boston marathon in 2013. This particular subject hit home much deeper than most subjects we have discussed or even on the news. I am from a town only 20 minutes outside of Boston and have been to Boyalston st numerous times and know exactly where the bombing took place. To make matters worse, both my mother and aunt were in boston at the time of the bombing, my aunt only a few blocks down the street.  This marks the 2nd year anniversary of those un thinkable acts, even though it feels like it was just yesterday. You would not believe how something so fucked up (excuse my french) could bring a close knit city even closer. You see things like this in the middle east all the time but once something like this happens just a few miles from your home, it kind of puts life more into perspective.
